It is active in various areas through a team of highly skilled professionals with a wide range of competence, spanning from design and implementation of focused software solutions by using the most advanced and up-to-date Open Source tools, to high level Management Consulting in several industries.

At the end of 2003, since the very first guidelines of Bank of Italy in terms of Business Continuity and by actively participating to a few round tables with SMEs (subject matter experts), well recognised in the IT and Finance sectors, we have started to conceive a software tool tailored and designed to help the Banks in gathering, analyzing and handling the massive quantity of data to be collected according to Bank of Italy new regulation.

Start from this consideration ORBIT has been concept as the first Italian software solution for the Business Continuity, developed with Open Source tools.

ORBIT is nowadays a platform chosen and adopted by primary Banking Groups as well as smaller Banks in Italy.
